Grilled Goat's Milk Brie Cheese, Prosciutto & Figlet Sandwich ~ with an Italian Red ~ Evening at Home

IMG_9318

I wish I could tell you we enjoyed these, Mini Grilled Sandwiches, while uncorking this Italian Red...

...leisurely boat watching ...along the Amalfi Coast.

But I can't.

We were home.

          In New Jersey.

                      (with the kids.)

We spent the morning...HERE

Then, after a series of errands, we returned home and (like so many weekends before) ...started to cook.

My husband was slow-cooking, Mustard and Bourbon Ribs on the grill... I was in charge of, "the appys..."

While we snacked away and sipped the wine...

It was clear the Amalfi Coast...

...was going to have to wait.

I think these pass for more than an appy. Slide the ribs down the table and let me at the figgy / hammy / cheese crusty thingys. They look wunnerful!

Can we be neighbors? We would be great neighbors. Oh, the food we would enjoy.

This "appy"spread looks amazing. No doubt the ribs on the grill were amazing too.

Hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend.

Velva - YES! We would make excellent neighbors! It could be very dangerous though... ;)

Dreaming is part of enjoying good food with good friends and family. I will definitely be doing it this coming weekend. Adding a splash of housemade Limoncello will complete the trip to the Amalfi Coast. Thanks for sharing this tasty treat.
