Homemade Garlic Chips ~ Let's Build a Dinner

Start with super thin slices of garlic sitting in room temperature olive oil.

Turn on medium heat and saute until garlic starts to lightly brown and sizzle! Do not walk away!

A few minutes later you'll have these crispy bursts of flavor!

Now let's gather some simple ingredients and build ourselves an amazing dinner!

Take a little Kosher salt...

Some crushed red pepper flakes...

Freshly grated Parmesan cheese...

Pasta...parsley...lemon...and a fork...

Extra virgin olive oil and fresh cracked pepper of course.

Dinner Deconstructed.

Fresh, fragrant and crunchy...Garlic Chips will make so many of your delicious meals...even better!

How might you use Garlic Chips?

These garlic chips look fantastic. I wonder how they will taste if I mix them with cream cheese and put it over a warm slice of bread.

I'm pretty sure I could just eat these garlic chips by themselves and be quite happy. My breath...not so much.

Ummmm! They look great and would definitely be delicious with pasta. Bet they would be great with soup or in a salad also. This is a must try!

Thanks guys - yes PERFECT on cream cheese and bread as they taste just like a garlic bagel!

Congratulations are in order!!! Bravissima to you for introducing garlic chips!!! I make this all the time for a lot of dishes. Adds an incredible flavor to the food. Afraid that a lot might not like it I skipped it in some recipes. Thanks to you for bringing back my penchant for garlic chips. Cheers! Your blog is just fabulous!!!

I'd make some kind of a dip out of those garlic chips, goat cheese, a bit of cream cheese, maybe some sour cream & The Parm (of course!) some S&P, yum!! But then again Im really hungry right now and dip sounds good LOL :)

I love getting the garlic crispy like that for garlic and hot pepper pasta, they are so tasty and cruncy.
Interesting take on having it as a side to pasta with parmigiano. And beautiful pictures.

I love this innovative version of "aglio, olio, peperoncino": I am sure the garlic chips add a whole new dimension.
